This project has an unspecified duration, and will continue as long as the foundation is potentially able to assure its continuation.

Possible solutions

To address to its objectives, the “GLORIA AID” mission has proposed a pilot project to build an orphanage capable of welcoming 150 to 200 residents, a school for the lodgers and children from the vicinity, and a medical centre. To assure the alimentary self-sufficiency of the lodgers, the organization wants to create a farm to grow basic foodstuffs.

The accommodation, the supervision, instruction and healthcare of residents will be entirely supported by the organization through collections and other donations.In order to realise this pilot project, the foundation (organization) has a compound in Kinkole; a semi-rural zone of the city of Kinshasa located 45 Km from the centre city

Labour and means of action

According to the mission of the foundation, considering that the project is in an experimental stage, and considering all the possibilities of extending it to other rural regions of the country, and even outside the country (Angola particularly), the foundation has its first office at Kinshasa and has a permanent representative office in Kinkole. That office will have the task of coordinating all the activities of the foundation wherever it is located.

The foundation’s human resources are counted in terms of administrative personnel, residential supervisors, teachers, medical personnel and extra personnel. The foundation may have certain technical services for a limited duration whenever these are required.
